Over the past few months I have expanded the number of platforms I sell on. In addition to Etsy, Poshmark, eBay, and Relovv, I have added Mercari. Each platform has a general buyer profile, so by cross-posting onto various sites, I increase the visibility of my inventory and increase the opportunity for a sale.
While I have yet to make my first sale on Relovv, (the platform is still in its beginning stages only being a year old), I made a sale on Mercari within the first 12 hours of being a member. There are pros and cons to each sales platform, but as far as I can tell, Mercari is going to rank right up there with Poshmark as far as traffic and ease of use go.
Mercari has a bit of a “yardsale vibe”, similar to eBay, where you can find pretty much anything at a decent price. Shipping labels can be printed right from the point of sale, making it convenient and pretty affordable.
I am still listing clothing on there, but the app is very easy to use and loads quickly making the process of copying my listings fairly smooth. If you do not currently have an account, you can find me on Mercari at angela04355. It is a fun place to buy and sell your gently used items!
