I have heard it said from Poshers that have been on the platform for awhile that sellers should try to list at least two items per day. This will keep your closet fresh and beat the algorithm helping your listings stay toward the top of the search list. That is one of my main goals while getting my Poshmark closet up and running.
At 4:00 in the afternoon, thrifting was not looking like a viable option, but I went anyway. While most of the racks were picked over in the places that I went, I was able to find four items to meet my listing goals for Monday and Tuesday.
Here’s my sneek peek. Athleta is a great seller for many Poshers. I found a really bright print Athleta tank for a great price. I do not know much about the brand other than it is a brand of athleticwear offered in women’s, plus, and kid’s sizes. The Athleta brand is owned by Gap.
I’m relatively new to Poshmark and am still learning what sells at what price points. I’m sure I will have it down eventually. For now, It is real easy to look at comps right on the Posh site. For instance, you can search for Athleta printed tank tops and filter the results to show only the items that have sold. This gives you a good idea how to price your item. I listed this Athleta tank for $22. Depending on style and print, retail prices hit in the $40-$50 range. The tank I picked up is in excellent preowned condition. I think $22 is definitely a fair price.
