With my new venture in reselling comes the addition of clothing to my sewing room/office. I started the process of hanging all of the clothes onto a rolling rack that I utilize when making dance costumes. I have a second rack in storage, which most likely will make an appearance over the next few days. I found a printable Poshmark inventory sheet online, so taking inventory was a must yesterday too. The sheet I printed has columns for purchase price, date listed, date sold, and profit. Better to start now while things are new than try to catch up later on down the line.
All of my handmade items are either hanging in my sewing room closet, or folded and separated by style on metal shelving. I would like to hang all of it eventually. Right now, I like having those items separate from the thrifted items. I think this makes it easier to find a particular garment when it sells on Etsy, eBay, or any other platform where I sell my handmade items.
I did make a thrifting trip yesterday. The next few days are pretty busy for me with appointments and activities for the kids. I was able to pick up enough items to have things to list until Saturday when I will be able to go again. Steaming handmade clothing is also on my agenda for Saturday. I have a lot of things I would love to list from my ready-to-wear line!
What did I pick up? A lovely Tahari 100% linen cardigan, a Miss Me jeans studded tee, Lucky Brand boho top, a pair of Jack Wills super skinny jeggings, and a few mall brand items which I think will do well. Take a look through my closet over the next few days. I will be listing a few of these items each day to keep my closet active with some fresh looks!
